Virginia Clark

Hello there, my name is Virginia Land Cornish Clark. I have a very strong sense of family, I am very proud to be a member of the Cornish family. I have my father's brown eyes and brown curly hair. My brother Charlie has beautiful blue eyes and blond hair so my father instilled in me that I was special from the time I was born. My brother Charlie is one year younger than me and we are very close. We were each others' best friend when we were growing up. I love him very much and miss the fact that I do not see him as much as I would like too. I live in Troy now, but I have lived all up and down the east coast. I really liked to live down south because I truly felt as though I was in my element. Everyone was very polite and I liked how everything was kind of lazy and relaxed. I really like to garden and I had huge crops of vegetables to share with everyone. I worked for 18 years in hotels as a front desk clerk so I'm very used to solving problems quickly and effiently. I left the Marriott hotel in Albany and didn't know what to do. I had volunteered at my daughter's afterschool program for a couple of years and liked working with children. I started working as a teachers assistant at the Ark Community Charter School with second and third graders. It is interesting work and every day is different. I love to work with the Lynn . She is the teacher I work with each day. I truly feel as though I'm appreciated every day I come to work . I love how the positive feedback is always there and how I feel because of the way it is conveyed. I can wear what I want and I'm always feeling pretty comfortable which is a nice plus. I love how the school stresses the importance of art and how it plays in your life.. I absolutely love.....love......love to work in the arts and crafts mode. I love the whole art feeling and the ability to create things out of nothing. I feel as though I can celebrate that part of me while I'm at the school. My daughter is 11 years old and her name is Beth. I wanted her so very badly and can honestly say that she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I wrote a story about her birth. I am very close to her and I'm proud of the fact that she is a good person. I'm thrilled that she is smart, kind and someone who has a strong sense of right and wrong. Beth is a very pretty girl who does not yet realize the extent of her beauty. I love her totally and with all my heart and didn't realize how deep a mother's love is until I became one. I really like to act like a goof around her and to show her that it is all right to laugh at yourself . I make sure every day that I have said at least 5 good things to someone else before I go to bed. I really like to watch the shows on TV about forensic medicine and how it solved the crime that taken place. I also watch cold case files alot too, its almost the same type of show. I guess I like mysteries and all the figuring out how things had transpired. I like to play maj-jong on the computer and to play collapse. I like to read a lot and I think its important that I show Beth how wonderful and fun reading can be. I am very proud of my vocabulary and know that it is in part because of my reading and my parents and my enviroment. I feel lucky that I am a bright, intelligent woman.
